Science Alliance recently awarded Nicholas Furth the Graduate Advancement Training and Education (GATE) program fellowship. They received a total of 45 applications, which were reviewed by an ad hoc committee of faculty. The applications were scored against the stated review criteria and subsequently discussed by the team. A total of 15 applicants were selected for funding. GATE students will be expected to perform ORNL affiliated research for the duration of the appointment.
